Synopsis

Everyone has experienced the unsettling mystery of d�j� vu--that flash of memory when you meet someone new you feel you've known all your life or recognize a place even though you've never been there before. But what if the feelings were actually warnings sent from the past or clues to the future? It is d�j� vu that unexpectedly guides ATF agent Doug Carlin through an investigation into a shattering crime. Called in to recover evidence after a bomb sets off a cataclysmic explosion on a New Orleans Ferry, Carlin is about to discover that what most people believe "is only in their heads" is actually something far more powerful--and will lead him on a mind-bending race to save hundreds of innocent people.

Elle's Character

Abbey is a Navy Officer's young daughter. She is seen on the ferry before the blast, but fortunately survives the disaster. Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton) used to baby sit for Abbey before the boat accident, and is good friends with Abbey's mother.

Trivia

. This is the first movie to film in New Orleans after the Hurricane Katrina disaster in late 2005.

. Director Tony Scott will be familiar to Fanning fans as the director of Dakota's film 'Man On Fire'.

. Elle shot her scenes at Algiers Ferry in late March 2006, she was spotted on set wearing a huge Parka jacket.

. Whilst filming this movie, Elle attended the local Mardi Gras, and collected loads of beads!

. Unfortunately, two of Elle's scenes were cut from the movie. Leaving only glimpses of Elle on the ferry, and one scene in which she is saying a prayer with Claire.
