Handcuffed inside the van
Eden: "I'm tired."
Driver: "I said keep singing."
Eden: "But my throat's sore!"
Driver: "Hey, do what I say!"
Eden: "Watch out!"
[Van swerves to miss truck and lands in the river]
Eden: (screams) "Help me!"

Don't you like me?
Beck: "So Eden, what's her name?" (points to photograph)
Eden: "She's my mom. Her name is Alma."
Beck: "And this guy here, is he your dad?"
[Eden shrugs]
Beck: "What about Mark? Is he your brother?"
Eden: "I never saw him before last night. But, I have a sister named Rosemary."
Beck: "Really, where's she?"
Eden: "I don't know. Can I live with you?"
Beck: "I don't think that's possible."
Eden: "Why not? Don't you like me?"
Beck: "Of course I like you!"
Eden: "Do you have too many children already?"
Beck: "I don't have any."
Eden: "That's sad."
Beck: "Listen, where was Alma taking you?"
Eden: "I don't know."
Beck: "Was she taking you to a new house?"

Eden identifies her sister's body
Eden: "That's Rosemary."
Beck: "You sure, Eden?"
Eden: (nods) "She's my sister."
[Detective Stabler asks for the body to be covered]
Eden: "Wait! I wanna look."
[The body is uncovered again]
Beck: "When did you last see her?"
Eden: "I don't remember."
Beck: "Where did she live?"
Eden: "A house. A big house in the country."
Beck: "With Alma?"
Eden: "No. With Rita and Bud."
Stabler: "Did you live there too?"
Eden: "For a little while. But I was very bad. I had to be sent away."
Stabler: "Home."
Eden: "Yes."
Beck: "Did Rosemary get sent away?"
Eden: "Rosemary wasn't so bad. They just put her in the cage."

More questioning
Munch: "Is this where you slept Eden?"
Eden: (points on photograph) "On that bed. Until I was sent away to Alma."
Munch: "Why were you sent away?"
Eden: "They said she was my mother now."
Munch: "What about Rosemary?"
Eden: "She didn't sleep there."
Munch: "Where was her room?"
[Eden points to another photograph]
Munch: "She slept outside?"
Eden: "No. In the barn."

Telling the truth
Eden: "What do you want me to do?"
Beck: "Tell the truth about Rita and Bud in court."
Eden: "You mean the bad things?"
Beck: "What bad things?"
Eden: "They put a hose in my mouth and turned it on till water came out of my nose. And they took away Charlie's wheelchair for two days. So he had to crawl. And they made Joe eat his own barf."
Beck: "Did you see them hurt your sister?"
Eden: (shakes head) "I didn't see Rose, because she was in the cage."
Beck: "If you didn't see your sister how did you know about the cage?"
Eden: "Rita showed me. She said I could be punished with the cage, or the hose."
Beck: "What did you do wrong?"
[Eden lowers her head]
Beck: "Eden. If you're in court you have to tell the truth about everything. What did you do wrong?"
Eden: "I didn't finish my food. Will Bud and Rita be in court?"
Beck: "They won't be able to hurt you."
Eden: "Yes they will!"
Beck: "Not if they're in prison."
Eden: "They're not in prison now! They're here. I see them when they come to visit the other kids. They give me mean looks. They want to kill me, too!"
Beck: "We won't let them. We'll move you to another home."
Eden: "They'll still find me!"
Beck: "I'll protect you."
Eden: "I'll do it if I can live with you."
Beck: "I've told you, that's not possible."
Eden: "But why?"
Beck: "I have to work."
Eden: "Not while I'm in court. Please let me stay with you."

Just you and me
Eden: "Do you have a husband?"
Beck: "Yeah. But he died."
Eden: "Then it's just you and me."
Beck: (smiles) "Come here."
[Beck sits Eden down]
Beck: "Okay. Just while you're in court so you can feel safe. Remember we agreed on that?"
Eden: "Yes, I know."
Beck: "Good girl."
Eden: "Good night."
Beck: "Sleep tight. Good girl. Okay."

Eden is very bad
Eden: "I can't sleep."
[Beck sees a fire burning]
Beck: "Oh my god!"
Eden: (screams) "Let me go! Leave me alone! I wanna die! Let me go! I wanna die!"

Why did you do it?
Beck: "Why'd you do it?"
Eden: "So you'd never leave me."
Beck: "You could have killed us both."
Eden: "Then we'd be together."
Beck: "Sorry."
[Beck gets up to leave the room]
Eden: "Where are you going, Dani?"
